The Creative Tourism currently integrates the Strategic Plan for the Development of Tourism in Esposende.

The Municipality of Esposende, as a member of the national creative tourism network (Creatour), through its municipal program EScreative, has developed some actions (workshops and international seminars) and participating in IdeaLabs and conferences on the theme.

The actions of the municipal project of Creative Tourism, are based on three fundamental themes: agro-maritime activities (sargasso); the plant arts (reed); and enogastronomy (wines and Atlantic food).

For the quarter of July, August and September, the following activities are scheduled:

  • July 15, workshop "The reed goes out to the street," Monthly Crafts Fair of Esposende
  • August 26, workshop and fashion show "The reed goes to the beach", in Praia de Suave Mar, Esposende
  • September 29, "Reed basketmaker" workshop, Esposende Tourist Information Center
