António Correia de Oliveira

The poet António Correia de Oliveira was born in São Pedro do Sul on July 30, 1879. In 1912, by marriage, he came to live in the Farmhouse of Belinho (Antas, Esposende).
Influenced by Antero de Quental and Guerra Junqueiro, his poetry displays a popular and nationalist nostalgia, cultivating patriotic themes. He died on February 20, 1960.
