SUMMER AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
"Summer at Your Fingertips" is an initiative under the ESlocal programme (Incentive Programme for the Production and Consumption of Local Products), aimed at promoting locally produced agri-food products and traditional crafts.
At the promotional stand located in Largo Rodrigues Sampaio, in the city of Esposende, visitors can discover a wide range of products from local businesses and artisans until the end of September.
The following producers and artisans are taking part in these promotional and sales activities: Alberta Domingues, Ana Catarina Lima, Fernanda Regado, Marta Arriscado, Sara Hipólito, Daniela Rodrigues, Beatriz Pereira, Licores Cardoso, Isabel Sá and Teresa Sobral.</p>

WORLD TOURISM DAY
Esposende marks World Tourism Day with a focus on sustainability and the Cávado River
Esposende will mark World Tourism Day, celebrated next Sunday, 27 September, with a programme dedicated to the tourism strategy for the coming years, sustainability and the promotion of the municipality’s natural resources.
Over three days, from 25 to 27 September, a range of initiatives will be held, combining opportunities to reflect on the future of tourism in Esposende with environmental awareness activities and water-based experiences open to the community.
The programme begins on Friday, 25 September, at 5:00 pm, at the Noble Hall of Esposende Town Hall, with the presentation of the “Esposende Tourism 2030” Strategy, a document setting out the main guidelines for the development of tourism in the municipality over the coming years.
The event will also feature the signing of the Commitment Charter for Esposende’s certification as a Sustainable Tourism Destination (Biosphere), reinforcing the Municipality’s commitment to a more sustainable and responsible tourism model focused on promoting the territory, its resources and local communities.
Throughout the weekend, the programme continues with a range of water-based experiences open to the community, organised as part of the Esposende Nautical Station, providing an opportunity to discover and enjoy the potential of the Cávado River and strengthen the community’s connection with this important natural resource.

FAMILY STORIES «A SELECTION OF TALES», WITH VIRGÍNIA MILLEFIORI
Just like a box of assorted biscuits — filled with different shapes, fillings, colours and flavours — this session aims to offer a variety of experiences for everyone’s imagination and personal journey.
With or without a book in hand, the stories are chosen according to the time of year, the audience listening and, ultimately, the story that is waiting to be told.
