EXHIBITION "WEAVING THE REED"
The exhibition "Weaving the Reed" centers on the craftsmanship of reed mats from Forjães, a "know-how" that became the main artisanal industry of this village for much of the 20th century.
This artisanal labor is portrayed through the lens of Juan Pablo Moreiras, a French photographer whose work has illustrated numerous exhibitions and publications, including those of UNESCO World Heritage, as well as features in prestigious international magazines.
Additionally, this exhibition hosts pieces from the "Water Earth Fire" showcase, which are the results of work produced over the last four editions of the academic project "'Design' and Territory" by ESMAD, the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.

ESPOSENDE COMEDY SESION S1 2025
Esposende Comedy Sessions returns for a new season in 2025 and will have three shows at the Esposende Municipal Auditorium between April and August.
The nights of humour with unlikely hosts, established comedians and new talents are back in Esposende.
The first show of the season is on 30 April and will feature André Pinheiro, Pedro Sousa, open mics and guests.
André Pinheiro is one of the fastest-rising names in Portuguese comedy. He has appeared on the main national stand-up stages and has been the opening act for some of the biggest names in Portugal, including the ‘Pata de Ganso’ tour. He has made an impact on his own with the ‘À Noite Mata’ podcast, the ‘De Manhã É Prata’ programme on Mega Hits and his regular participation in the ‘watch.tm’ podcast.
Pedro Sousa is one of Portugal's most promising comedians, having performed on some of the best stages in the country and amassed hundreds of shows - including on the Comedy Stage at NOS Alive. Creator of the podcast ‘A Milhas’, the only podcast in the world recorded on the move (yes, literally on the move), he launched the show ‘Apalpar Terreno’ and, more recently, the projects ‘Notícias a Sério’ and ‘Secret Stuff’.
