In a pharmacy where every day feels the same, different stories of love, conflict, and farewell intersect without anyone stopping to notice. Between a marriage on the brink of collapse, a man awaiting death, and a pharmacist trapped in routine, the characters experience moments of tension, humour, and emotion—always under the shadow of time that never stops. But for great problems, great remedies — or so one hopes. Between attempts at healing, desperate solutions, and the fear of the inevitable, the question remains: does anything truly change, or are we all stuck in the same cycles?

“Eduardo De Filippo (1900–1984), Italian—better said, Neapolitan—playwright, actor, director, and filmmaker, lent us three one-act plays to build this performance: Pharmacy on Duty, Friendship, and Dangerously.

OVERBOOKING is the second solo Stand-Up Comedy show by Joel Ricardo Santos.

After co-hosting the TVI show “Vai Ou Racha” with Pedro Teixeira, Joel needs a vacation — but instead, he dives straight into his new show.

The comedian is back on the road, bringing with him stories that would make any GPS scream “recalculating route!”.

Everyone loves to travel, and so Joel invites us to take a trip around his world.

A turbulent flight that flies over human stupidity as seen through the (equally silly) mind of the comedian.

Don’t bring maps or travel guides.

Joel takes care of the itinerary — and with a bit of luck, each one of us will reach a different destination.

Joel Ricardo Santos began his career as a comedian in 1986, having made his father laugh the moment he was born.

A musician since the age of 6, Joel took to the stage for comedy for the first time in January 2011, and on February 24 of that year, performed his first solo comedy show.

Since then, with the energy and commitment that define him, he has made his mark on Portuguese comedy with shows of relentless rhythm and unanimously positive reviews.

His growth has been remarkable — 14 years later, he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Portuguese comedy at renowned festivals and events such as MEO Marés Vivas and NOS Alive.

Joel has also appeared regularly on television, including Levanta-te e Ri, 5 Para a Meia-Noite, over 200 episodes of TVI’s Vai Ou Racha with Pedro Teixeira, and as a recurring commentator on SportTV.

In 2018 and 2019, he launched his first tour, ESTAVA LÁ E VI! (“I Was There and I Saw It!”), performing 27 shows in 24 cities.

And now, in 2025, he’s back with his brand-new show: OVERBOOKING.

Frederico Ferreira has been passionate about the art of illusionism since a young age. It all started when his grandfather gave him a magic handkerchief, awakening his interest in the pure enchantment that magic can bring. Over the years, Frederico has refined his art, studying tricks, manipulation techniques, mentalism and magical storytelling. His style is distinguished by a combination of suspense, mystery and subtle humour, in which each show is a journey: it is not just about showing tricks, but about telling a story, engaging audiences and leaving a mark. Frederico performs on stages everywhere, taking his name beyond borders with performances that combine visual spectacle with thought.
