Viewpoint and Chapel of Senhora da Guia

In this privileged place, we can admire the Atlantic coast from S. Bartolomeu do Mar to Viana do Castelo. If we turn our attention to the interior, the elevations of Serra da Nogueira, Monte, and Serra d'Arga make us realize that we are in an agricultural land, between the sea and the fossil cliffs, the first relief in the direction of the interior of the territory.

The current chapel Senhora da Guia, inaugurated on May 19, 1974, will have arisen from a small niche of other times and preceded by another from the seventeenth century, which was a little near the present and which, for reasons of conservation, has been demolished.
