North Coast Ecovia

FOZ DO NEIVA SECTION

Part of the Natural Park of the North Coast, this section connects to the municipality of Viana do Castelo in Foz do Rio Neiva. Nearby you will find the Church of Santa Tecla; House museum of poet António Correia de Oliveira and with the landscapes of Rio Neiva and Beach Gulheta.

MARINHAS - ESPOSENDE SECTION

Part of the Natural Park of the North Coast, this section begins in the city of Esposende and continues north to Rio de Moinhos (Marinhas), always along the coast, giving access to the beaches of Suave Mar, Cepães and Rio de Moinhos.

Note: This bike path is not yet finished, with the connection to cross the Cávado River to Vila de Fão missing, as well as the continuity to the North to the Foz do Neiva section.

FÃO - APÚLIA SECTION

Part of the Natural Park of the North Coast, this section of the ecovia connects with the beach of Ofir, and the beaches of Apúlia, as well as with the municipality of Povoa de Varzim to the south. Nearby are the Masseiras (traditional agricultural fields of Apúlia), the Facho and Capela da Bonança and the Cávado estuary, a privileged place for the practice of Birdwatcing.
